Itinerary in details
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Hanoi arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.
Half day city tour of Hanoi to visit Hanoi old streets, Sword Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, enjoy puppet show performance. Overnight in Hanoi.
 
DAY 2: HANOI -MAICHAU(B,L)
Drive to Maichau. Visit the Ho Chi Minh trail  Museum at Ba La Bong Do en route (closed on Monday ). Continue our way  to Mai Chau through  he  patchwork of rice paddies, farms and stilt houses, and mountain. Visit local tribal village of Poomcong.
This afternoon we spend time walking out of Mai Chay Valley.Enjoy a boat  excursion on Ma River and have pleasant encounter with friendly tribal  people.  We walks amongst the verdant villages and sample the local culture  and  the beautiful natural setting
Tonight we stay at Tai minority people. The homestay is simple but the experience is enriching.

DAY 3: NINH BINH - KENHGA - HOA LU - TAMCOC (B,L)
Drive to Ninhbinh through rice fields and villages, river and limestone mountains to Nhoquan. The area is also one of astounding natural beauty with limestone  peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Ha Long Bay. It is true that this area is often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land. We visit Kenhga floating villages and enjoy the peaceful life of local people living in the hidden corner of Red River Delta.
We proceed to Tamcoc where we embark on  river sampan for a 3 hour cruise along the NgoDong River flowing peacefully between 2 spectacular limestone mountain ranges. Enjoy the wonders of nature. Feel the peace and calmness of the region. Overnight at hotel in Tamcoc.

DAY 4: TAMCOC - RED RIVER DELTA - HALONG BAY (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Halong bay through the lush of Red River vegetation to visit Keo Pagoda with its beautiful bell tower set in an quiete area in rural village. Visit Phominh tower in Namdinh. Continue our way to Halong bay. Arrival Halong bay pier and check-in registration, board  our boat for a stunning cruise amongst towering limestone backdrop while  enjoying  lunch on board . The cruise will take you by exotic islets with shapes of Dog, Incense Urn, Sail, Fighting Cocks, which are naturally formed by process of erosion between the see water and lime ston mountains. Arrive Surprise Cave and explore the by bay kayak, paddle to Luon cave, this cave is a natural tunnel thrusts through a mountain's foot and leads to an exotic lagoon surrounded by mountains covered by by dense junle. Seafood dinner and optional night paddle. Overnight on Halong Junk

DAY 5: HALONG BAY - HANOI JUNK CRUISE- NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (BRUNCH)

Our boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Halong bay
A new day wake you up with joys and emotions in an early morning for watching sunrise on sea. Enjoy break fast and continue exploration. Visit Luon cave and  Tortoise, Man's head Lunch on board before returning to the wharf.
12h00 : Back to Halong wharf and disembark.
Transfer back to Hanoi. Arrival Hanoi by 5pm and transfer to your hotel.
Tonight we will take night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.
 
DAY 6: SAPA TRIBAL VILLAGE (B,L)
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa.  The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, we will check into hotel , we have a freshen up and breakfast at the hotel. At 10am from the hotel there will be a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, and Sinchai villages home to the Hmong hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area.  Return to Sapa in the afternoon. Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 7: SAPA -BACHA - NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B,L)- Organised on Sunday
Rising to the sounds of morning coming to life for another lovely day, we  breakfast and head out for a stunning spectacular of bobbling bazzar. Bacha is considered  one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local people in their traditional attires busily buy and sell the local produces. Dog, cat, pig, horse... are all on sales. This is golden opportunity to take best shots! Afternoon we trek to Ban pho village, home to flower H'mong people. Opportunity to interact with friendly local people and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Transfer to train station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE(B)
Arrival Hanoi in the early morning.
Transfer to airport for the departure flight.
